July Update

Things have been really busy around here. I need to start posting to this blog more. That’s obvious. I really plan to as well. I’m going to be adding a lot of links to tutorials and videos and some of my own stuff as well. Things have been so busy here, I just haven’t had the time to blog. That changes this month.

So what’s new with New Aeon Design ? I’m working on some design offers for websites. I started creating some zazzle products and a zazzle store and I’ve been working really hard on some design templates for sale. Believe me, this has been keeping me real busy.

This month I plan on linking all the above mentioned stuff into the blog, and website. I’ll be posting links, adding some tutorials (ya, it’s been awhile, and I’m really trying), and also showing off some of my latest creations and design offers. Thanks for being patient while and thanks for following the blog.

Created A New Bitcoin Blog

As some of you have probably noticed, I recently took an interest in Bitcoin. I was looking for an alternative form of payment for the website and thought I would give it a try. I’ve learned a lot and have become fascinated by crypto currency. The good news is if your not into Bitcoin, I probably wont be posting about it here anymore. I’m sure there will be a mention from time to time but for the most part I will only be posting about the crypto currency here. If your into Bitcoin and bitcoin related things check it out !

Monthly Update March

Just a quick March update and some up coming news. Things are moving quickly in 2014, and the blog is slowly growing. Thanks to all the new sign ups, followers, and folks following the rss feed and the various social networking sites that New Aeon Design is on. I plan on getting a lot more tutorials up shortly. Expect some Gimp stuff, and Inkscape stuff coming soon. I’d also like to add some html and css code as soon as I can find some time.

bg-fractal-5-spaceI got my first graphics pack up on the main website. It’s a trippy, psychedelic graphic pack of seamless backgrounds and textures for website backgrounds or any trippy graphics projects you might be working on.  The project was a lot of fun to work on, and the designs were created by running various fractals through different filters and adding different backgrounds like stars and stuff. The graphic shown is one of my favorites from the set, feel free to use it and if you do and you like it why not consider downloading the rest of the pack . The pack is available for only $1.95 and can be downloaded instantly through payloadz. The file is in zip format, and the images are 250 x 250 px in jpg format. I’m also working on a way to incorporate Bitcoin payments for all you crypto currency fans.

Bitcoin_logoOn that note , you may have noticed the Bitcoin tip jar on the sidebar. I decided to get involved in Bitcoin a little. I’m a bit sceptical of the crypto currency but feel that it’s worth getting involved with as an alternative payment method. I think eventually a decentralized crypto currency for the internet is inevitable, and I’d like to learn as much about it now, than later when I’m trying to play catch up with everyone else. So, I’ll be posting about Bitcoin from time to time and I have a few surprises in store for fans of the crypto currency.

With all that said, thanks again for following and supporting The Design Blog. I’m gonna get creating some content now. Hope you check out my first graphics pack, and I’ll talk to ya all soon !

Quick Update

Just a quick update. Things have been moving rather quickly around here. I’ve been doing a lot of social networking, and I think I’m going to be doing a bunch of posts on social networking. Topics will cover Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter, and Pinterest. Those are the main services I use, and really just don’t have the time to add any additional services now. There certainly are a lot of new social sites, and it seems like a new one is popping up everyday. Anyway, you can expect some posts on social networking with tips and tricks.

I’ve got more than a few posts planned for the next couple weeks, and I’m also planning on adding more graphic design tutorials, and some additional coding tutorials as time permits. I just finished one site for a customer, and it looks like I should have another build coming up shortly. Not to mention the main site for the blog is in need of a lot of work. However, outside of finding customers (they do pay the bills around here after all) one of my main goals for 2014 is taking my blogging duties a bit more seriously.

Some quick company news, I did a build for a client who decided after doing some legal research that they may not want to take their business online and decided to keep things local. I’ve already been paid on the build and the customer is just looking to recoup there costs. So I have an ecig / vaping website for sale. If your interested in getting into the online ecig biz, the website can be found here. cosmicvapes.com cool name and I really like the way the site design came out. It’s a little funny acting in older versions of Internet Explorer, but the customer decided half way through the build that they wanted to sell, I invoiced them for work done and stopped coding immediately.

So that’s the quick update. For the tweeted version : Domain and website for sale, expect more tutorials, social networking posts coming soon.

Thanks for reading The Design Blog and taking an interest in New Aeon Design.
